Dear Norfolk Photography Group,
summer is hardly over but we here at Wild Adventures under Suffolk’s Skies are already looking ahead to the stormier seasons, where wildlife will again be at its most spectacular.
Speaking of which, our last photography workshops this year on popular RSPB Havergate Island will be this coming weekend (17/18 September) and on 19/20 November. You can still join us for a photographic exploration of Suffolk’s only island, with award-winning (BWPA 2015, Four Seasons Category) photographer and Wild Adventures Guide Kevin Sawford. A great tutor and favourite with beginners and advanced photographers alike, he will help you to improve your wildlife photography fieldcraft and find a Havergate hare, master bird flight shots and discover macro photography in the island’s sheltered spaces. Find our comprehensive workshop list on wasuffolk.co.uk/what-s-on.html or read first what others thought about our events wasuffolk.co.uk/guestbook.html.
Certainly easier to capture – albeit not less challenging photographically – are the endangered Suffolk Punch Horses. We are delighted to be able to offer you an exclusive behind-the-scenes, or better, behind-the-stables experience in what is our first season of co-operation with this acclaimed Trust. Read more here wasuffolk.co.uk/photography-at-the-suffolk-punch-trust.html but be quick to book – places are going fast!
For those with a little more interest in landscape photography, we would like to invite you for our Tidal Travel Log – Photography Strolls on the Suffolk coast. This series will chart coastal change visually, and it is a great way of improving your photographic skills in stunning coastal settings. Our special this autumn are our workshops on the supermoon evenings… wasuffolk.co.uk/tidal-travel-log.html
Finally, some exciting news: we are currently preparing our first photography trip abroad, to a spectacular wildlife event in Germany! Be part of the adventure and subscribe up to our seasonal MailChimp newsletter now to be amongst the first to receive the news and discounts for our 2017 events – and please forward this email to all your members.
And remember, most of our high-quality wildlife/farmlife events support the work of our charity partners, ranging from the RSPB to The Suffolk Punch Trust, helping endangered species to survive and recover.
