This section will provide a central source of information useful to members, who are encouraged to suggest further subjects that help guide both those new to the club and long standing members get the most from their membership.
We intend to offer guidance sheets on subjects ranging from the best formats for competition & display, exhibition rules, Photoshop tips, and quick links to web resources.
If you have often wondered what the guidance is for any subject, drop us a line and we will see if we can include it.
In addition to the main meetings of the Group there is a sub-group that holds workshops specifically for those members wishing to attain a distinction in either The Royal Photographic Society or the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.
Annual Print Exhibition:
The Group holds an annual print exhibition of members work at The Church Rooms, Cromer Road, Mundesley, Norfolk at the end of May. Every member is invited to display an equal number of prints of their choosing limited only by space and numbers. The Committee however reserves the right not to hang any print that in their opinion is inappropriate.
Prints may be of any size but must be mounted. The standard mount size for National Exhibitions is 40cm x 50cm and the Group uses this as its standard size for the Exhibition. However, panorama and other sized prints may be accommodated. Please see the Exhibition Secretary for details.
There is a free car park for our visitors with free admission to the exhibition.
Light Refreshments are available. Open daily including Sundays and Bank Holiday Monday 10.00am. to 5.00pm.
One of our members is sponsored by FOTOSPEED as a lecturer and judge and through this association the Group is able to offer its members a substantial discount on a range of FOTOSPEED papers and sundries.
