This week’s photograph was taken by Alan Waddington
The horse whisperer was taken at Worstead festival a couple of years ago, in the heavy horse arena.
For as long as man has had a working relationship with horses, the horse has had something of a mystical status. It’s not difficult to see how mounted troops must have looked to people who had never seen a horse. So it’s not to difficult to realise that any man who had the ability to harness the horse by his will quickly rose in stature above his fellow man.
If you haven’t already done so please dig through your images and send them to me with a short description so that they can be included in this section of the web. Thank you to everyone who has supported this in the past, its a good way to show off your work.
