“Daniel Wiepen is a photographer in the British Army. Having served as a soldier with a passion for photography, Daniel passed the Army’s selection course to become a photographer in 2010 and joined the Photographic Trade in 2013. In the time since becoming a professional photographer he has returned to Afghanistan for a second time as well as capturing imagery of the Army at work in Africa and the Middle East.
“Whilst serving in the UK Daniel has a very varied job photographing everything from troops exercising on Salisbury Plain and Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks firing high explosive rounds to shoots for magazines and MoD poster campaigns. Daniel is currently the photographer for the Arm in the South West.”
