I have just been informed the link to the Tips and Guides didn’t work. So I have re-listed this blog with a working link. Thanks Dennis.
Last night we had a visit and presentation by Colin Hulley from Permajet, who talked about the need to calibrate your monitors and printers if you wanted to get consistent good quality results from your printing. The evening was very well attended by our own members and visitors from nearby clubs. It was good to see such a positive turnout. I certainly learnt quite a few things during the evening. Several people have already commented to me about the value of the night.
I have added extracts from Colins talk on our Tips and Guides page just in case you didn’t quite catch any of the details he talked about. There is also a full copy of his notes on the same page as a pdf file.
As a follow on from this session Permajet offer a second visit. However the next time they visit there will be the opportunity to bring along a digital file and get it printed on the evening, perhaps on a paper you haven’t tried before. something to look forward to.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported your club.
Its coming up to that time of year again when you will be thinking of buying presents. Don’t forget that the club is affiliated to Amazon and we get a small commission on any purchases made through the site. There is no extra cost to you but there is a definite help to the club. I have added a search box onto the Home page to try and jog your minds when you are looking for goods. You can now search directly from our site and any purchases you make will be linked to your club.
Some of you may also have noticed the adverts at the bottom of the page, I have added these as another way to try to generate some money for the club. As a club we get paid when ever anyone clicks the adverts, there is no requirement for you to buy anything , but every click will generate a small amount of money. Once we hit a predefined amount we will get a payment. The adverts will be targeted by Google based on your web experiences, so I doubt any two people will get the same advert. So get clicking just to see whats at the other end and help to maintain the running of this site.
