Welcome
The Norfolk Photography Group is a new name for an old established photography group on the north Norfolk coast that attracts members from all over the county and beyond.
Formerly known as The Mundesley Photography Group we meet in the church rooms in the small seaside village of Mundesley. We are a small but enthusiastic group, who believe in mutual help and encouragement, heavily biased towards enjoyment with a lighter touch towards competition. We do however band together and take part in external competitions around the region.
We encourage an open minded approach to photography embracing its many facets; we have members highly skilled in areas as diverse as nature, digital montage, weddings and contemporary photography. However we are not elitist and offer a warm welcome to anyone and everyone from complete novices to the most experienced.
We have no bias towards darkroom or digital we are totally inclusive of any branch of photography.
Each year we host three major exhibitions at the hall in Mundesley.
In addition to our own highly acclaimed members exhibition at the end of May, we also hang two guest exhibitions. The Royal Photographic Society Creative Group National Exhibition and the Royal Photographic Society East Anglian Members exhibition during the month of August.
Our membership fee covers two adult members of the same family residing at the same address. This has in the past been the start of an enjoyable hobby for many who originally came along to keep a partner company.
If you are serious about photography or just enjoy the hobby why not come along. You will be made most welcome.
